About Tracie Spencer
Tracie Spencer, born on July 12, 1976 in Waterloo, Iowa, is an R&B singer known for her chart-topping hit “Tender Kisses” in 1991. She has also released other popular singles such as “Save Your Love,” “This House,” and “Love Me.”
Prior to her fame, Spencer won a 1980s edition of Star Search with her rendition of Whitney Houston‘s “How Will I Know,” leading to a contract with Capitol Records. At the age of eleven, she recorded her first album on the label.
During the early 1990s, Spencer became the youngest female recipient of ASCAP’s songwriting award. She grew up in Waterloo, Iowa and later relocated to Los Angeles, California.
