About Tamika Scott
Tamika Scott is an R&B singer born on November 20, 1975, in Georgia. She is best known as a former member of the multi-platinum selling R&B group Xscape. The group disbanded in 2000 but reunited briefly in 2005.
In addition to her singing career, Scott is also a music producer and actress with a film credit in “There’s a Stranger in my House.”
Before gaining fame with Xscape, she and her sister received training as singers from their father at a young age.
Notable members of Xscape included Kandi Burruss and Tiny Cottle. Tamika Scott has one daughter named O’Shun Reney with her husband Darius Byas. Her father Reverend Randolf Scott was also involved in the music industry as part of an R&B group called Scott Three.
