About Sydel Curry
Sydel Curry (born October 20, 1994) is an Instagram star and athlete from Charlotte, North Carolina. She gained prominence as the younger sister of NBA MVP Stephen Curry and Duke basketball alumnus Seth Curry.
While attending Elon University, she was a member of the indoor volleyball team. Outside of her athletic endeavors, Sydel has amassed a following of over 700,000 on Instagram.
Prior to her university career, Sydel distinguished herself as a four-year starter and three-year captain for her high school volleyball team in North Carolina. She received numerous accolades including being selected four times to the CISAA All-Conference and three times to the NCISAA All-State teams.
During her freshman year at Elon, she was redshirted due to a knee injury. Sydel is part of a remarkable sports family – the daughter of fellow volleyball player Sonya Curry and former NBA player Dell Curry
In November 2017, she became engaged to basketball player Damion Lee before marrying him in September 2018. The couple welcomed their first child named Daxon in November 2021.
