Sophina DeJesus (born October 6, 1994) is a California-born gymnast and dancer, recognized for her achievements as a multiple-time All-American and Pac-12 Freshman of the Week. At UCLA, she also represented the United States National Team. Prior to her gymnastics career, DeJesus acted as a child actress on the television series Hip Hop Harry.
DeJesus began gymnastics at Fallbrook Gymnastics in Temecula, California when she was six years old. Her talents have led to appearances on several talk shows including The Ellen DeGeneres Show, The Tom Joyner Morning Show and Maury.
She comes from a close-knit family; her parents are Jerry and Maria DeJesus. She has brothers named Izaia and Jerry, and sisters named Angelica and Savannah.
