Naturi Naughton is an R&B singer and actress, born on May 20, 1984 in East Orange, New Jersey. She gained prominence as a member of the girl group 3LW and has also appeared in films such as Notorious and Fame. Since 2014, she has starred in the Starz drama Power.
Before her rise to fame, Naughton attended Seton Hall University and sang in her church choir. She joined 3LW at its inception in 1999. One notable achievement was when her band went on tour with Destiny’s Child, Dream, Nelly, Jessica Simpson, and Eve.
