Erika Buenfil, born on November 23, 1964 in Monterrey, Mexico, is a well-known soap opera actress. She gained popularity for her role as Victoria Balvanera de Brizz in Amores Verdaderos and has also appeared in other successful telenovelas such as Tres Mujeres and Amor en Silencio.
Beginning her acting career at the age of 12, Buenfil landed her first telenovela role in Acompáñame in 1977. She rose to prominence when she secured the part of Victoria Balvanera de Brizz amid competition from notable actresses like Rebecca Jones and Victoria Ruffo.
In addition to her successful career, Buenfil revealed that she gave birth to Nicolas De Jesus in 2005 and identified Mexico’s ex-president Ernesto Zedillo as the father.
