About Victoria Ruffo
At 19, Mexican actress Victoria Ruffo made her telenovela debut in Conflictos de un Medico and went on to become the Queen of the Telenovela thanks to her impressive roles in La Fiera and Simplemente Maria. In 2011, she took a break from television and tried out some theater work. She was married twice – first to fellow actor Eugenio Derbez (1992-1997) with whom she had son Jose, then to politician Omar Fayad (2001) who fathered Anuar and Victoria. Her last major TV role was alongside Cesar Evora in 2005’s La Madrastra.
