Pink, born Alecia Beth Moore on September 8, 1979 in Doylestown, Pennsylvania, is an R&B and pop singer. She gained fame for her collaborative rendition of “Lady Marmalade,” which topped the Billboard Hot 100 and earned her a Grammy Award.
Before pursuing a music career, Pink dreamed of becoming an Olympic athlete but was hindered by asthma. Her musical journey began after leaving the group Choice and releasing her first single, “There You Go,” in 2000.
In 2010, she captivated audiences at the Grammy Awards with a stunning performance of “Glitter in the Air” while suspended above the crowd.
Family-wise, Pink’s father adored Billy Joel’s music during her upbringing. She married Carey Hart on January 7, 2006 and welcomed their first child, daughter Willow, in June 2011. Their son Jameson Moon was born in December 2016.
