Beth Moore is an American Christian teacher, writer and activist. She founded Living Proof Ministries, a Texas-based evangelical organization, and her radio show called “Living Proof with Beth Moore”. She’s written several Bible and religious works such as A Woman’s Heart: God’s Dwelling Place (2007) and When Godly People Do Ungodly Things (2002). Starting out in her teens, she intended to pursue a career in the Southern Baptist Convention ministry but put that plan on hold to get her political science degree at Southwest Texas State University. Her popularity skyrocketed through Living Proof Live, which is a series of women’s conferences. Born in Green Bay Wisconsin with four siblings – one younger than her and three older – she married Keith Moore in 1978 and had two daughters named Amanda and Melissa. Alongside John C. Maxwell, both of them achieved great successes as Evangelical Christian speakers and writers.
