About Beth Moore
Beth Moore is a religious leader born on June 16, 1957 in Wisconsin. She is notable for establishing the Texas-based evangelical organization Living Proof Ministries and hosting the radio program Living Proof with Beth Moore. Additionally, she has authored several Bible and religion-themed works including A Woman’s Heart: God’s Dwelling Place (2007) and When Godly People Do Ungodly Things (2002).
In her late teens, Moore committed herself to a career in Southern Baptist Convention ministry. However, she briefly put her plans on hold to complete a bachelor’s degree in political science at Southwest Texas State University.
Well known for her “Living Proof Live” women’s conference series, Moore was raised in Arkadelphia, Arkansas alongside one younger and three older siblings. She married Keith Moore in 1978 and they have two daughters named Amanda and Melissa.
