Dee Dee Warwick was born on September 25, 1945, in Newark, New Jersey. She was an R&B singer and is best known for being the sister of R&B singer Dionne Warwick. Dee Dee gained recognition for her collaborations and solo work, including her hit “Suspicious Minds.”
Before gaining fame as a solo artist, she began singing backup for her older sister in the Gospelaires and later transitioned from gospel to country music in the 1960s.
