Zubaida Tharwat (born June 15, 1940 in Alexandria, Egypt) was a renowned movie actress known for her roles in the Egyptian cinema during the 1950s, ’60s, and ’70s. She gained nicknames such as “The Queen of Romance,” “Magic Eyes,” and “The Pussycat of Arab Cinema” due to her glamorous presence on screen.
Tharwat’s notable film appearances include Shams La Tagheeb (as Soha), Fi Baituna Ragol (as Nawaaal), and El-Moznbon (as Mona).
Before entering the world of acting, she won a prominent beauty contest that garnered attention from filmmakers during her teenage years. Additionally, she pursued studies in law at Alexandria University.
