Zeenat Aman, born on November 19, 1951 in Bombay, India, is an award-winning television and film actress known for her role as Janice in the 1971 musical Hare Rama Hare Krishna. She has also made a name for herself as a film producer.
Prior to her professional career in acting and producing, she attended Saint Xavier’s School in Mumbai with plans of becoming a journalist and reporter. In 1970, she was named Miss India and Miss Asia Pacific International as a successful beauty pageant model.
Throughout her lengthy career, Aman has appeared in over 90 titles in both film and television. Her iconic status has earned her numerous lifetime achievement awards including the Timeless Glamour & Style Icon award at the Filmfare Glamour And Style Awards ceremony in 2016 and the Lifetime Achievement Award at the 2021 Filmfare Awards East.
Born and raised in Bombay, India, Zeenat Aman now resides as a mother of two children.
