Yuliya Gushchina is a Russian sprinter born on March 4, 1983, in Novocherkassk, Russia. She is best known for her achievements in the relay events at the Olympic Games and World Championships.
Gushchina’s career highlights include winning a gold medal in the 4×100-meter relay at the 2008 Olympics and securing silver medals in the 4×400-meter relay at both the 2008 and 2012 Olympics.
Prior to her Olympic success, Gushchina won bronze in the 4×100-meter relay at the 2002 World Junior Championships. She later went on to claim gold in the 4×400 meters at the 2013 World Championships.
