Yordanka Donkova, born on September 28, 1961 in Bulgaria, is a former hurdler known for her incredible achievements. In 1986 alone, she set four world records and went on the win an Olympic gold medal in the 100 meter hurdles in 1988. Despite losing two fingers on her right hand due to an accident as a child, she persevered and continued to excel in her athletic career. Notably, she broke her own world record in the 100 meter hurdles with a time of 12.21 seconds in August 1988. Yordanka Donkova has three children: a son named Zhivko and twin girls named Daniela and Desislava.
