About Yelizaveta Tishchenko
Yelizaveta Tishchenko is a Ukrainian volleyball player born on February 7, 1975 in Kiev, Ukraine. She gained recognition for her performances in major international tournaments as a middle blocker. Throughout her career, she achieved silver medals at the Olympic Games three consecutive times.
Tishchenko made her debut for the Soviet national team in 1991 and went on to captain the national team in both 2003 and 2004. Her impressive accomplishments include winning four European Championships titles and three World Grand Prix titles. Notably, she underwent knee surgery only three months before competing at the 2008 Olympic Games in China.
