Ye Shiwen, born on March 1, 1996 in China, is a renowned swimmer known for representing her country at the 2012 Olympics and securing gold medals in the 400-meter and 200-meter individual medleys. She began her swimming career at the age of 6 and went on to achieve further success by winning gold in the 200-meter individual medley at the 2011 World Aquatics Championships.It’s worth noting that Ye Shiwen hails from an athletic family, with her father Ye Qingsong being a runner and her mother Ning Yiqing having competed as a long jumper.
