Ye Ji-won, born on February 1, 1973 in Seoul, South Korea, is a TV actress best known for her leading role as Choi Mi-ja on the popular Korean sitcom Old Miss Diary. She has also garnered attention for her roles in films directed by Hong Sang-soo such as On the Occasion of Remembering the Turning Gate (2002) and Ha Ha Ha (2010). Ye Ji-won attended the Seoul Institute of the Arts and she received a Busan Film Critics Award for Best Actress for her performance in the 2006 film adaptation of Old Miss Diary.
