About Yara Lasanta
Yara Lasanta (born April 3, 1986) is a Puerto Rican beauty pageant contestant. She gained initial acclaim after being crowned 2001 Miss Teen International. Lasanta was named Miss World Puerto Rico in 2010, and had previously finished as the fourth runner-up at the 2005 Miss Puerto Rico Universe pageant.
She finished in the top 25 at the Miss World 2010 pageant and later worked as a meteorologist for Telemundo. Her parents’ names are Luz and Jose, and she is married to Ektor.
