Won-young Jang is a South Korean pop singer born on August 31, 2004 in Seoul, South Korea. She rose to fame after winning the reality series Produce 48 in 2018, leading her to become the center and face of the girl group IZONE.After IZONE disbanded in 2021, Jang became part of the group IVE. Prior to her appearance on Produce 48, she trained with Starship Entertainment for just over a year.Jang has earned nicknames such as “Born to be Center,” “Giant Baby,” and “Giant Maknae.” She is also known by the name Chang Yuanying.She hails from Ichon-dong, Seoul and has an older sister. Her father works as a music teacher.
