Winnie Mashaba, born on April 1, 1981 in South Africa, is a renowned Gospel singer. In 2010, she clinched the prestigious Best Female Artist title at the Crown Gospel Awards. Her television career took off with her debut as a presenter on Dumisa in 2017. Mashaba made the decision to drop out of school after completing 11th grade in order to fully commit herself to gospel singing.

In 2000, she released her first album titled Exodus 20 and received a nomination for Best African Spiritual Female in 2005. The artist hails from Kgosi Phasha village where she was raised.
