About Wendy Bellissimo
Wendy Bellissimo (born February 27, 1967) is a celebrity designer and entrepreneur known for her work in designing apparel and decor. She was born in Connecticut and graduated from Teikyo Post University with a degree in interior design.
Prior to her entrepreneurial success, Bellissimo worked as an interior designer and later went on to develop partnerships with Baby ‘N’ Kids and Babies ‘R’ Us. In 1994, she began selling decorative pillows made of discarded fabric samples on a whim, leading to her eventual career as an entrepreneur.
Bellissimo is married to Joe Bellissimo, a marketing executive, and they have four daughters. Growing up in Connecticut, she was influenced by her mother Lonnie who owned a furniture shop.
