About Waylynn Lucas
Waylynn Lucas (born March 15, 1982) is a pastry chef and television personality from Los Angeles, California. She gained fame as a judge on the Food Network reality shows Cake Wars and Cupcake Wars. Along with Nancy Truman, she co-founded the popular bakery Fonuts in Los Angeles.
Lucas opened her first restaurant while living in Costa Rica before gaining acclaim for her work at Patina and The Bazaar, where she became the first pastry chef to receive two four-star reviews from the Los Angeles Times. She was also previously romantically involved with chef Michael Voltaggio.
