Virna Lisi, born on November 8, 1936 in Ancona, Italy, was an award-winning Italian actress acclaimed for her roles in films such as Follow Your Heart and The Girl Who Couldn’t Say No. She received the Cesar and Cannes Film Festival awards for her performance in the 1994 film La Reine Margot. Lisi began her acting career with a debut role in the 1953 film La Corda D’acciaio after being discovered by producers during her teens.

Notably, a Brazilian band has been named after her – Virna Lisi. In terms of personal life, Lisi was married to Franco Pesci from 1960 until his passing in 2013.
