About Vilmarie Mojica
Vilmarie Mojica (born August 13, 1985) is a Puerto Rican volleyball player known for her skill as a setter. Hailing from Toa Baja, Puerto Rico, Mojica has been a prominent member of the Puerto Rican women’s national volleyball team for over a decade.
Mojica served as captain for her national team at events such as the 2008 Olympic Qualification Tournament and secured medals at the 2009 NORCECA Championship. She began her volleyball career at the age of eight in the ARSEL league in Levittown, New York.
Mojica has garnered recognition for her exceptional abilities, earning multiple Best Setter awards at tournaments including the 2009 Pan-American Cup and the 2012 Olympic Qualification Tournament.
Off-court, Mojica shares her life with brothers named Alex and Yeimily. Additionally, she married Tommy Ramos; together they welcomed their daughter Valeria in February 2018.
