Victoria Osteen met her husband Joel in 1985 when he came into her mother’s jewelry store to buy a new watch battery. She attended the University of Houston, studying psychology and working in her mom’s business. She and Joel now co-pastor Lakewood Church, a megachurch in Houston Texas that draws one of the biggest congregations in the US. On October 14 2008 Victoria published her first book Love Your Life: Living Happy Healthy and Whole which quickly rose to #2 on the New York Times Bestsellers list. Together she and Joel have two children.
