Vicky Moscholiou was a Greek world music singer, born on May 23, 1943 in Greece. She gained fame for her collaboration with Stavros Xarhakos in the song “Hathike to Feggari” in 1964 and released her debut self-titled album in 1966.
Before gaining recognition as a singer, Moscholiou grew up in challenging financial circumstances where her family had to live together in a single room.
Two nightclubs located in Athens are named after her songs “Deilina (Afternoons)” and “Ximeromata (Daybreaks).”
Moscholiou was married to soccer star Mimis Domazos with whom she had two children before getting divorced.
