Vera Wang is a renowned fashion designer who went from figure skating to creating haute couture wedding gowns that have been worn by celebrities. She began figure skating at the age of six and competed in the sport until she discovered her passion for fashion design. For her costume designs, she was inducted into the U.S. Figure Skating Hall of Fame. In 1989, Vera married Arthur Becker and adopted two daughters, Cecilia and Josephine; however, their marriage ended in 2012. Despite rumors of a romance between them, she has been very close friends with Evan Lysacek for years.
