Vanessa Carlton is a singer-songwriter and musician who made it big in 2002 with her hit single A Thousand Miles. She was super talented, even at two years old when she could already play Its a Small World on piano! In 2002, her debut album Be Not Nobody was released to great success; she’s been nominated for multiple Grammy Awards since then. Vanessa dated Third Eye Blind lead singer Stephan Jenkins before marrying John McCauley from Deer Tick in December 2013; the couple now have a daughter named Sidney born in 2015. Her latest album Rabbits on the Run is inspired by Watership Down and Stephen Hawking’s A Brief History of Time.
