Valentina de Angelis, born on January 31, 1989 in New York City, is an American TV actress. She is known for her recurring role as Carmen Fortier in the popular drama series Gossip Girl and for her appearance in the film It’s Kind of a Funny Story released in 2010.
Prior to her acting career, she worked as a child model before making her screen debut in the 2003 film Off the Map where she portrayed Young Bo.
In addition to her work on Gossip Girl and It’s Kind of a Funny Story, de Angelis has appeared on television shows such as Law & Order, CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, and CSI: NY.
She was born and raised in Manhattan where she attended the Professional Children’s School.
