About Uzo Aduba
Uzo Aduba is an actress best known for her role as Crazy Eyes on Orange Is the New Black. She won a Primetime Emmy and SAG Award for it, and first gained attention in 2003 when she got a Helen Hayes nomination. The Boston native studied classical voice and was a track athlete at Boston University. Her Broadway debut came in 2007’s Coram Boy, and her first TV appearance was on Blue Bloods in 2012. Uzo’s parents are Nigerian, and she often shares the screen with OITNB co-star Taylor Schilling.
