Tyler Layton is an American TV actress known for her role as Detective Holly Rawlins on the crime series Silk Stalkings. Born in Alabama on May 6, 1968, she also has a successful career as a stage actress, appearing in productions such as Rabbit Hole, Taming of the Shrew and Much Ado About Nothing.

Layton attended the University of Alabama from 1986 to 1991 and earned a Bachelor’s degree. She later taught acting classes at Florida Gulf Coast University. Her father was involved with University of Alabama football games as a radio analyst.
