Ty Alexander (born November 4, 1976) is a fashion and lifestyle blogger, social media consultant, and style and beauty TV correspondent. She is known for her blog Gorgeous In Grey, which caters to real women over thirty who love fashion and beauty.
Before gaining recognition in the style world, Ty worked at Baltimore City Child Support before commuting to New York City to network with the fashion industry. Frustrated with the lack of inclusive representation in fashion blogs, she launched her own platform in 2010.
In addition to her blogging career, Ty also works as a style and beauty editor for Interactive One’s HelloBeautiful. She is the creator and co-founder of Digital Sorority. Ty moved from Maryland to New York full time when she started her blog. Her parents’ names are Denny and Pete; she also has one sibling.
