About Teuta Matoshi
Teuta Matoshi (born October 24, 1989) is a Kosovo-Albanian fashion designer known for her “princess-like” gowns. Her designs have been worn by celebrities such as Blake Lively, Alia Bhatt, and Kerri Medders, and singer Elle King wore one of her floral Pink gowns to the Grammy Awards in 2018.
Matoshi studied at Design Factory and the University of Pristina Faculty of Arts in Mitrovica, Kosovo before launching her line in 2007 and opening a shop in Pristina where she initially sold jackets. In 2019, she opened an atelier in SoHo, Manhattan with her sister and is known for employing local women in Kosovo.
She married Artan Duriqi with whom she has a daughter and two sons. Matoshi comes from a family of nine siblings; her younger sister Lirika Matoshi is also a fashion designer.
