About Taya Valkyrie
Taya Valkyrie, born Kira Renee Magnin-Forster on October 22, 1983 in Victoria, Canada, is a professional wrestler. She gained recognition through her time with WWE and made her wrestling debut with Asistencia Asesoria y Administracion in 2012.
Before pursuing a career in wrestling, Valkyrie was trained as a ballerina from a young age and later ventured into modeling and fitness competitions. Her transition to wrestling began in 2010 when she trained at the Storm Wrestling Academy under Lance Storm.
Valkyrie’s achievements include being named Luchadora of the Year by Asistencia Asesoria y Administracion for two consecutive years, in 2014 and 2015.
Originally from Victoria, British Colombia, Valkyrie now resides in Los Angeles, California. She announced her engagement to fellow wrestler John Morrison (Johnny Mundo) in June 2017 before they tied the knot one year later.
