About Tasha Page-Lockhart
Tasha Page-Lockhart, born on March 21, 1983, in Detroit, Michigan, is a gospel singer known for winning the BET gospel singing competition Sunday Best. She emerged as the winner of its 6th season in 2013 and subsequently secured a recording contract from RCA Records’ label Fo Yo Soul Recordings.
Prior to her fame in the music industry, she dropped out of high school at age 17 when she became pregnant and later moved to Atlanta, Georgia to pursue her musical career.
In August 5, 2014 Tasha released her debut album Here Right Now under RCA’s Fo Yo Soul label. The album charted at #87 on Billboard’s Top 200 and #3 on Billboard’s Top Gospel Albums charts.
Born to parents Michael and Lisa who are both spiritual leaders based in Detroit where she was raised.
