Tanisha Lovely Wright, born on November 29, 1983 in Brooklyn, New York, is an American basketball coach and former player. She currently serves as the head coach of the Atlanta Dream in the WNBA. Wright was drafted 12th overall by the Seattle Storm in the 2005 WNBA draft and enjoyed a successful 14-season career with the team before retiring in 2019.

Before embarking on her coaching career in 2020, Wright played collegiate basketball for the Penn State University Nittany Lions. Her contributions to the sport include helping lead the Seattle Storm to their second championship win in 2010 and being honored as the Big Ten Defensive Player of he Year three times from 2003 to 2005.

Wright’s early years were shaped in Mifflin, Pennsylvania where she grew up.
