Tamara Thorne, born November 20, 1957 in Los Angeles, California, is a bestselling American horror writer known for her novels Winter Scream, Moonfall, and Thunder Road. She has also written under the pen name Chris Curry.
Thorne published her first novel, Winter Scream in 1991 which was co-authored with fantasy and horror author L. Dean James. In the same year she was nominated for the Bram Stoker Award for Best First Novel.
She was raised in Los Angeles, California.
