About Tabitha Soren
Tabitha Soren, born on August 19, 1967 in San Antonio, Texas, is an American photographer known for her work as a former MTV News reporter. She gained fame as the face of MTV’s ‘Choose or Lose,’ a young-voter campaign. Soren’s interviews with Tupac Shakur were featured in the 2003 documentary about his life and death, ‘Tupac: Resurrection.’
Prior to her career in photography and journalism, Soren appeared in the Beastie Boys music video for “(You Gotta) Fight for Your Right (to Party)” in 1987.
In addition to her work as a photographer and journalist, Soren’s photography has been exhibited at the Indianapolis Museum of Contemporary Art.
Soren is married to Michael Lewis and they have two daughters and one son together.
