About Ta-Tanisha
Ta-Tanisha, born on January 15, 1953 in New York, is a renowned TV actress known for her role as Pam Simpson on the ABC series Room 222 in the early 1970s. She also gained recognition for playing Louise Coleman in the 1973 film The Sting and received a NAACP Image Award nomination for her performance in the television series Mission: Impossible.
Before rising to fame, Ta-Tanisha moved to Los Angeles in her early twenties where she pursued acting classes and appeared in stage productions with the Performing Arts Society Los Angeles.
She is also recognized for founding TechniVision, an organization aimed at helping inner-city kids located in Los Angeles. Born Shirley Cummings and raised in New York City and Detroit, Michigan, she tied the knot with screen actor Lee Weaver in 1971 and they have a daughter named Leis La-Te.
