Sylvia Soska, born on April 29, 1983 in Vancouver, Canada, is a director, actress and filmmaker. She is known as one-half of the Soska Sisters alongside her twin sister Jen.
The duo has earned the moniker “The Twisted Twins” for their original horror films including Dead Hooker in A Trunk, American Mary, and ABCs of Death 2. They also host the horror game show Hellevator and have worked on Marvel’s Black Widow.
Sylvia’s interest in horror was sparked by watching Poltergeist as a child. Along with her sister Jen they set out to work first as actresses before transitioning into filmmakers.
Trivia about Sylvia includes that she and her sister have created comic books such as Kill-Crazy Nymphos Attack! And have contributed to issues of Marvel’s Secret Wars Journal and Guardians of Infinity.
