About Suzy Welch
Suzy Welch is a self-help author, business journalist, and former editor of the Harvard Business Review. Born on September 27, 1959 in Portland, Oregon, she gained notoriety for her affair with then-married Jack Welch while working at Harvard Business Review. The two later married after his divorce and went on to co-author best-selling business books together.
Before her time at Harvard Business Review, Suzy worked at the Miami Herald following her graduation from Harvard in 1981. In 1988, she returned to school to attend Harvard Business School.
One of Suzy’s most popular and best-selling books is “10-10-10: A Life Transforming Idea” and she has also served on the Board of Directors of the Humane Society.
Suzy was previously married to Eric Wetlaufer in 1985 and had three children with him before marrying Jack Welch in 2004, three years after their infamous affair.
