Suzy Bogguss, born on December 30th, 1956 in Aledo, Illinois, is a prominent country singer and guitarist. Her talent and dedication to music have earned her platinum and gold-certified status as well as the Academy of Country Music’s award for Top New Female Vocalist.
Prior to her successful music career, Bogguss made a mark in her community by becoming the homecoming queen during her senior year of high school. She then pursued higher education and graduated from Illinois State University with a degree in metalsmithing.
Throughout her career, Suzy Bogguss has released one platinum album and three gold-certified albums. In addition to her musical achievements, she has also balanced family life; she welcomed a son in 1993.
