Suzanne Malveaux is a journalist and news anchor, born on December 4, 1966 in Lansing, Michigan. She is best known for her work with CNN on shows like CNN Newsroom, Around the World, and The Situation Room. Throughout her career she has reported on many important events in history and interviewed presidents George H. W. Bush, Bill Clinton, and George W. Bush.
Prior to gaining fame as a TV personality, Malveaux began her career in television at New England Cable News from 1992 to 1996 before moving to Washington DC where she worked as a crime beat reporter for an NBC affiliate until 1999.
Malveaux’s influence stretches beyond journalism; she runs the charity organization MalveauxMission.org dedicated to finding a cure for ALS inspired by her mother’s diagnosis of the disease.
