Susan Oliver (born February 13, 1932) was an American actress and director known for her extensive work in television. Born in New York City, New York, she appeared in over 100 television shows throughout her career, including notable roles on The Twilight Zone and I Spy.
Prior to her acting career, Oliver pursued drama studies at Swarthmore College after leaving for the east coast as a teenager.
Later in life, she transitioned into directing and was among the original 19 women accepted into the American Film Institute’s Directing Workshop for Women during the late ’70s.
Her mother was Ruth Hale Oliver, a practitioner of astrology.
