Susan Lucci, born on December 23, 1946 in Scarsdale, New York, is a renowned soap opera actress. She achieved fame by winning an Emmy in 1999 for her portrayal of Erica Kane on All My Children. Additionally, she has appeared as Genevieve Delatour on the series Devious Maids.
Prior to her successful acting career, while in high school, Lucci was involved in various activities such as cheerleading and theater. She also wrote for the school newspaper and spent time as a foreign exchange student in Norway.
Lucci’s achievements have earned her the title “Daytime’s Leading Lady.” In 1969 she married Helmut Huber with whom she has a daughter named Liza and a son named Andreas.
