Sunny Johnson was a movie actress born on September 21, 1953, in the United States. She is widely remembered for her performance as the figure skater Jeanie in the film Flashdance. In addition to this iconic role, she also appeared in the films The Night the Lights Went Out in Georgia and Dr. Heckyl and Mr. Hype.
Prior to gaining recognition in Hollywood, Johnson made her professional acting debut on an episode of the show Baretta. She also had a memorable appearance in the cult Bill Murray film Where the Buffalo Roam in 1980.
Tragically, Sunny Johnson passed away from a brain hemorrhage at the age of 30.
