Stephanie Okereke, born on October 2, 1982 in Nigeria, is a renowned movie actress. She gained recognition for winning the 2006 Afro Hollywood Award for Best Actress and has been nominated for several leading actress awards throughout her career.
Prior to her fame, Okereke attended the University of Calabar where she studied English and Literary Studies. Her acting career took off after starring in two movies in 1997: Compromise 2 and Waterloo.
In addition to her acting accolades, Okereke directed, produced, acted in, and also wrote the script for Through The Glass – a film that received an African Movie Academy Award nomination for Best Screenplay.
On the personal front, she was previously married to Chikelue Iloenyosi from 2004 to 2007 before marrying Linus Idahosa in 2012. The couple welcomed their son Maxwell in 2015.
