Stephanie Millward is a Paralympic swimmer who has achieved significant success in her sport. Born on September 20, 1981, in Saudi Arabia, she has made a name for herself as a dominant force in swimming competitions.
Making waves in the 2013 IPC World Championships and the 2014 IPC European Championships, Millward secured four gold medals at each event. Her accomplishments also extend to the Paralympic Games where she won silver in four events during the 2012 Games.
Millward’s journey to success was not without its challenges – she was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis at seventeen years old. This setback did not stop her from pursuing her passion for swimming and achieving greatness within the sport.
In addition to her impressive competition record, Millward set a world record in the 4×100 meter medley relay during the 2011 IPC European Championships with a time of 4:52.40.
