About Stacy Westfall
Stacy Westfall, born on September 26, 1974 in Maine, is an acclaimed horse trainer and former horse jockey. She gained widespread acclaim after winning the Freestyle Reining Competition at the 2006 American Quarter Horse Congress. Westfall’s passion for horses began at a young age when she owned her first Pony, Midnight Misty, at the age of six. She later pursued her interest by attending Ohio’s University of Findlay where she graduated with a degree in Equestrian Studies.
In addition to her competitive success, Westfall garnered attention for her impressive skills as a rider when she became the champion of the National Reining Horse Association’s Freestyle Reining Competition in 2003 while riding bridle-less. In 1997, she married fellow horse trainer Jesse Westfall and together they settled in Ohio where they raised three sons.
