Soyeon, born on May 4, 1994,in Gwangju, South Korea,is a pop singer known for her debut as a member of the South Korean girl group Laboum in 2014. She and her bandmates gained fame through their appearance on the reality show Laboum Project and achieved success with the release of their chart-topping album Miss This Kiss in 2017. Soyeon’s full name is Jung So-yeon.

Before making a name for herself as a vocalist, she grew up in Gwangju,South Korea.In addition to her music career, she was a contestant on the singing competition Girl Spirit in 2016.

Soyeon has an older sister.
